This is what happens when I can't sleep. Also, the Good Omens AU below this has been edited to change a little of the wording, and significantly lengthen Yuan's explanation of his animosity toward humans, so anyone who cares might want to have a look.

Hey there, it's been a while. I guess this fic should come with a little more than tags to explain it.

Um, well, my friend Saffy and I had this idea at some point of a Good Omens AU in which Kratos and Yuan were agents of Heaven and Hell, respectively, living in America. Specifically, in New York, even though we both live on the west coast and know, like, nothing firsthand about the actual NYC. Details are not important when you're roleplaying stuff like this.

Anyway, at some point after we'd gotten bored with the idea and set it aside, I read a 9/11 fic, and it made me remember our characters who would undoubtedly still have been living in NYC at the time. And, well, this idea percolated around in my head for a while and then finally tapped me on the shoulder and told me to write it. Now.

So...I did. This story assumes that the Failocalypse happened in the summer of 2000, which is as good a year as any for a Failocalypse.
